Private Day Trip from Marrakech to Ouzoud Waterfalls
About this experience
The same waterfalls as the group excursion, but with the day arranged around you. A private vehicle and driver mean you can leave earlier to reach the falls before the coaches arrive, stay longer over lunch, or take the quieter upper paths instead of the main route down. Ouzoud drops more than 100 metres in three tiers through a red gorge, and the olive terraces around it stay green all year. Wild Barbary macaques live along the paths, and small boats run close to the base of the cascade where the spray is heaviest. Travelling privately also makes the drive better: you can stop in the Berber villages along the way, or detour to the Tanaghmeilt viewpoint above the gorge, which most group tours skip entirely.
