Half-day quad biking and camel ride in Marrakech in the Palm Grove
About this experience
This half-day combines the two best-loved activities in the Marrakech Palmeraie into one afternoon: an hour and a half on a quad bike and an hour on camelback, in a palm grove of thousands of trees just outside the city. The quad section runs on dirt tracks between the palms and out onto open stony ground, with a short training lap first so complete beginners are comfortable before setting off. A guide leads the group throughout. Afterwards you swap the engine for a calmer pace, riding camels along the sandy paths with a local handler leading. Between the two, there is a stop in a Berber tent for mint tea and pastries. It is an easy introduction to the landscape around Marrakech and works well for families and first-time visitors.
